Pretty often, he PCs of my campaigns end up in the sewers, mostly because it is pretty safe and a good way to bypass most guards, so today, we will make two smaller tiles that can be used to build sewers.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So, we start the day with starting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a>, to crate two textures, one cave floor and one sewage texture.<\/p>\n<p>Using one of my filters this time, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/filters\/7898.html\" target=\"_blank\">cracked stone (multi-tile)<\/a>, we can pretty easy get the result we are looking for.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/cavefloor.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1475\" title=\"cavefloor\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/cavefloor.jpg\" alt=\"cavefloor\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is the cave floor texture, looks pretty nice and unfriendly to me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/sewage.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1476\" title=\"sewage\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/sewage.jpg\" alt=\"sewage\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is the sewage texture. I would not take a swim there, I promise.<\/p>\n<p>So, start up OmniGraffle to assemble some tile. Set the Canvas size to 2&#8243; x 4&#8243;, and add some lines so we see the grid. Use white transparent lines.<\/p>\n<p>Now, add the cave floor texture, size it to fit the 2&#215;4 tile, and set it in tiling mode.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/cavestripe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1477\" title=\"cavestripe\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/cavestripe.jpg\" alt=\"cavestripe\" width=\"144\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now save the OmniGraffle file, then drag the sewage texture to the cave floor, and OmniGraffle will replace the cave floor texture with the sewage texture.<\/p>\n<p>Save the OmniGraffle file with a new name (<em>sewage tile maybe<\/em>), and render it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/sewagetile.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1478\" title=\"sewagetile\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/sewagetile.jpg\" alt=\"sewagetile\" width=\"144\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>OK, thats enough tiles, I think we got a complete set now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re back to making tiles today, and we&#8217;re making some nasty ones too.
