Back to well making for the villagers wellbeing, multiple puns intended.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So, we open the well file in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a>, and today we&#8217;re gonna add a bucket to the well.<\/p>\n<p>We create a cylinder, clone it, shrink it, you know the drill.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1972\" title=\"we2-01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-01.jpg\" alt=\"we2-01\" width=\"300\" height=\"362\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then, we use a taper tool on our bucket to give it a little rounder shape.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1973\" title=\"we2-02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-02.jpg\" alt=\"we2-02\" width=\"300\" height=\"265\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And as always, we need \u00a0texture, so we start up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a> again, and this time I use my &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/filters\/7672.html\" target=\"_blank\">lacquered wooden floors<\/a>&#8221; filter, which I am pretty proud of.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1974\" title=\"we2-03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-03.jpg\" alt=\"we2-03\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1975\" title=\"we2-04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-04.jpg\" alt=\"we2-04\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, we have texture, now we need a handle, so we create a torus ring, shape it rather thin, and place it so it will be a nice handle on the bucket. Then we use a box and a Boolean to remove the lower half of the torus ring.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1976\" title=\"we2-05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-05.jpg\" alt=\"we2-05\" width=\"300\" height=\"390\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We need a texture for this one too, and FilterForge is our tool for that. I use a filter I am still working on, wet rusty iron, and render this texture, with bump map.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1977\" title=\"we2-06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-06.jpg\" alt=\"we2-06\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1978\" title=\"we2-07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/we2-07.jpg\" alt=\"we2-07\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, we got a bucket and a well, and tomorrow we&#8217;re gonna finish this up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, well, well.
