We start with a table.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So, start <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a>, and create a box.<em> I fast forward this as you all know this pretty well by now, and new readers I recommend to read some older posts. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2402\" title=\"mks05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"201\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, shape that box as a plank, and copy it and move the copy and place it beside the first one, leaving a small gap. make five copies like that. Then, make a sixth copy, rotate it 90 degrees, make it smaller and place it under the five planks, and make another one like that. You should have this when you are done.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2405\" title=\"mks01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"483\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we apply one of our wood texture to this, adjusting the UVs for each plank so they look a little different. As you can see, I&#8217;ve changed 3 out of five planks here.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2404\" title=\"mks02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"389\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And this is how the table look from another angle. No legs this time, not needed as we wont make a tipped over table, and if we do, we can add legs later on.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2403\" title=\"mks03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We render this out with three different woods, to get three different tables. You could use Photoshop or something similar to manipulate the colors to make them look different, but you would then still have the same structure of the wood. Here are three market tables.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2406\" title=\"mks04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"383\" height=\"172\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we create a new document in Cheetah3D, I&#8217;m gonna do this the way they do it in games this time, but with a twist. So, create a new box, and shape it like a table surface. Then we add a texture with the look of wooden logs to it, you will remember this one, I&#8217;ve used it many times before. We set the polygons to about 30x30x30, so we can magnet it nicely.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2401\" title=\"mks06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"245\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We adjust the UVs, and then we go into magnet mode and do some destruction to it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2400\" title=\"mks07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, looks a little worn and twisted now. So, we start <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a>, and generate a table cloth for this table, an old filter but with new colors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks09.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2398\" title=\"mks09\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/mks09.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we select the polygons on the table where we want the cloth to be.
