{"id":2957,"date":"2010-02-23T07:00:33","date_gmt":"2010-02-23T05:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/?p=2957"},"modified":"2010-02-17T10:24:40","modified_gmt":"2010-02-17T08:24:40","slug":"the-making-of-a-burner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/?p=2957","title":{"rendered":"The making of a burner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, I needed a larger fireplace, or a burner for my map, where things get burnt, outdoors without the risk of burning down you valuable property.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So, we start up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a> again today, and make a cylinder shaped fireplace or burner.\u00a0We jump right into the action.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sb01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2964\" title=\"sb01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sb01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"406\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Using the texture I&#8217;ve done for the other fireplaces, I can just work apply them to the structure I&#8217;ve built using some cylinder shapes and Boolean removes.<\/p>\n<p>Now, we need a top also, so I take a cone, and cut away parts of it with Boolean operations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sb02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2963\" title=\"sb02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sb02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"418\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For the chimney, I use a box, that I first boolean remove from the top, then make like a square pipe and insert in the hole made.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sb03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2962\" title=\"sb03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/sb03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"367\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, I need some dirty ground around it, so I pick a texture at CGTextures.
