{"id":3020,"date":"2010-02-28T07:00:18","date_gmt":"2010-02-28T05:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/?p=3020"},"modified":"2012-03-05T10:45:52","modified_gmt":"2012-03-05T08:45:52","slug":"making-a-dungeon-door-filter-in-filterforge-2-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/?p=3020","title":{"rendered":"Making a dungeon door filter in FilterForge 2 &#8211; part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OK, we jump directly into the dungeon\u00a0door filter making today.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So, we open up \u00a0the filter from yesterday in <a href=\"http:\/http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/dd2-01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3028\" title=\"dd2-01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/dd2-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"243\" height=\"233\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we create a <strong>Perlin Noise<\/strong> component, and feed the output from yesterdays <strong>Elevation Gradient<\/strong> into the <em>Background<\/em> input, and the output from the <strong>Switch<\/strong> (where we choose light or dark rings) to the <em>Noise<\/em> input.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/dd2-02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3027\" title=\"dd2-02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/dd2-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"308\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the setup for the <strong>Perlin Noise<\/strong>, using a small Scale, and the profile is fed from a Wave component.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/dd2-03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3025\" title=\"dd2-03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/dd2-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the <strong>Wave<\/strong> component for the profile, to get small strokes or lines of noise.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/dd2-04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3024\" title=\"dd2-04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/02\/dd2-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"313\" height=\"321\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And this is the setup of the <strong>Wave<\/strong> component.
