Anyway, I came up with the idea of having a target dummy in the store, for the customers to try out the bows.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We start up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a>, and create a ball. We stretch the ball, this will be the body of the dummy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3425\" title=\"ts6-01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"245\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We then create two more balls, and stretch those to be arms.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3424\" title=\"ts6-02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"195\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We rotate the arms a little down, and then add another ball, the head itself.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3423\" title=\"ts6-03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"369\" height=\"368\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All we need now is a pole and a stand, both in wood, but what about the material of the dummy itself? Leather I assume, so I decided to take a dive down <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cgtextures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">CGTextures<\/a> today to grab a leather texture, and I found this one.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3422\" title=\"ts6-04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, the dummy is ready, all I need is a few arrows sticking out and that is easy fixed in Cheetah3D. \u00a0Shadows are then added using my FilterForge filter for topdown drop shadows.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3421\" title=\"ts6-05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here it is, in the store. The bows are all from SteelRats awesome collection of weapons and armor at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rpgmapshare.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">RPGMapshare<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3420\" title=\"ts6-06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts6-06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"437\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Still using Bogies tables, this overuse have to end soon \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, I&#8217;m working on an arms store, and the bow department, if there was such a name in those times.
