I&#8217;ve been using Bogies so much they almost fall to pieces, the pixels are all worn and pale. And I&#8217;ve decided I&#8217;ll make then &#8220;Bogie-style&#8221;, at least to begin with.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->I start the day by hunting for wood textures back at the favorite place, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cgtextures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">CGTextures<\/a>. Sometimes real photos cannot be replaced by synthetic textures, and tables are one of them. I&#8217;ve done several table filters on FilterForge, but none can beat a real good photo to work from.<\/p>\n<p>I found a few good ones, and I show you these two to begin with.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3462\" title=\"ts9-01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3461\" title=\"ts9-02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, I use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.omnigroup.com\/applications\/omnigraffle\/\" target=\"_blank\">OmniGraffle<\/a> shapes to create images shaped roughly like the tables a wanna make.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3460\" title=\"ts9-03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A nice round table.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3459\" title=\"ts9-04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>An octagonal\u00a0shaped table.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3458\" title=\"ts9-05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And at last, an L-shaped table or shelf. All these tables will mainly be used in my stores and markets, at least in the first place. No, I create a filter in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a> to fix these flat, clean and smooth images into something that looks like a worn table.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3457\" title=\"ts9-06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>First off, the round table. As you can see, a smooth bevel, some more roughness in the surface and some dirt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3456\" title=\"ts9-07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This octagonal shaped table with that rougher texture now looks like a table, not like a flat image.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3455\" title=\"ts9-08\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/ts9-08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the same goes for the L-shaped one.
