{"id":3512,"date":"2010-04-07T07:00:16","date_gmt":"2010-04-07T05:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/?p=3512"},"modified":"2010-04-04T09:24:15","modified_gmt":"2010-04-04T07:24:15","slug":"market-shades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/?p=3512","title":{"rendered":"Market shades"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, we&#8217;re gonna make a new set of market shades as I&#8217;ve been using my old ones a lot, and also the ones I&#8217;ve grabbed at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dundjinni.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dundjinni forum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->We start this by launching <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a> creating a cylinder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3521\" title=\"ms01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"299\" height=\"385\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we reshape it to the shape of a pole.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3520\" title=\"ms02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"138\" height=\"569\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We add a plane, that we divide into many polygons so it can be edited and manipulated. We also use the build in old wood generated texture for the poles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3519\" title=\"ms03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"258\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now we taper the shade (plane) and use the magnet tool to make it a little less flat and boring.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3518\" title=\"ms04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"231\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And now, we use a bunch of textures that we have created with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3517\" title=\"ms05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3516\" title=\"ms06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3515\" title=\"ms07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ms07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are 3 of the thirteen different market shades I made.
