We create a box, then shape it like a pole, and add a basic wood texture to it, one we have used many times before, the cottage wood. As you can see, it is still not UV-mapped.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4034\" title=\"wptwo2-01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"364\" height=\"518\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After UV-mapping it looks much better.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4033\" title=\"wptwo2-02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"361\" height=\"514\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we create another box.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4032\" title=\"wptwo2-03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"219\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We shape it using the edges, to a triangular flat shape. This is how I interpreted the drawing, something to keep the poles from falling or moving when the tension in the press starts to increase.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4031\" title=\"wptwo2-04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"168\" height=\"192\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we place it at the foot of the pole, and rotate it 45 degrees.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4030\" title=\"wptwo2-05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"291\" height=\"251\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We add the cottage wood texture to it as well. And copy it and place the other one rotated 45 degrees in the other direction along the y-axis.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4029\" title=\"wptwo2-06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"446\" height=\"264\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we copy this pole set and place the copy on the other side of the bowl.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4028\" title=\"wptwo2-07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/wptwo2-07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"377\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, a good start of the Egyptian wine press.
