I thought I could be lazy to find it, but I didn&#8217;t, but I found the basis of the tank as an obj-file. Now I know I could have done it pretty easy myself though.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So, we start <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a> and get to work. This is the model, I stripped away the tanks underneath it, but kept the hatch and the ladder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/tank-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4300\" title=\"tank-1\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/tank-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"243\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now I needed some texture, so I make something very simple in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a>, could have been done in anything else but I had FilterForge opened, this is what I thought those tanks looked like when they were new.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/tank-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4299\" title=\"tank-2\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/tank-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, using one of my favorite filters that I haven&#8217;t been using much before, Derelict by Carl, a wonderful filter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/tank-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4298\" title=\"tank-3\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/tank-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A diffuse map, see the gorgeous rust.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/tank-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4297\" title=\"tank-4\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/tank-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And a bump map.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I apply those in Cheetah3D.
