I exported the model out again, and opened it up in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/i\/software\/carrara8\/carrara_pro?_m=d\" target=\"_blank\">Carrara 8<\/a> this time. I could have done i Carrara what I did in Cheetah3D, but I still have a lot to learn in Carrara, so it would take too much time, and I tried hard to beat ProBono, who I know also tried to do this. Here is the model inside Carrara 8&#8217;s modeler room.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5420\" title=\"qs2-04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"389\" height=\"456\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now I bring up the shader studio where you edit your textures, the preview without any texture looks like this.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5419\" title=\"qs2-05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"377\" height=\"458\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now I use a built in stone texture.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5418\" title=\"qs2-06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"389\" height=\"451\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the result looks like this<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5417\" title=\"qs2-07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"402\" height=\"590\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I wasn&#8217;t overly happy with the result, so I decided to use my stone masons filter for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a> and render a few textures, and I went back to Cheetah3D for texturing and rendering after a few tries in Carrara 8. Here is the texture map, with some added green something.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5416\" title=\"qs2-08\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the normal map<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-09.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5415\" title=\"qs2-09\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/qs2-09.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also saw that I had completely forgotten her spear. Here is one using the built in Granite in Cheetah3D.
