Todey, a wine box for a upper class wine merchant from London.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem01.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Today we&#8217;re gonna use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/i\/software\/carrara8\/carrara_pro?_m=d\" target=\"_blank\">Carrara 8<\/a>, as I have a figure for DAZ 3D named Wine store, which has some great wine bottle props. I open the prop and this is how it look. This could have been done in other programs as well, but I felt I use Carrara 8 today.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5640\" title=\"winem01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"311\" height=\"546\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now we create a basic object, a Cube.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5639\" title=\"winem02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"317\" height=\"346\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, I use the Replicator to make a 3&#215;4 layout of bottles, to measure the size of the box I need to make.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5638\" title=\"winem03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"341\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you see, I need to narrow the gaps between the bottles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5637\" title=\"winem04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"346\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here it is tighter, and I&#8217;ve started to build the box.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5636\" title=\"winem05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"323\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now the sides are in place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5635\" title=\"winem06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"312\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here to top and the bottom are set.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5634\" title=\"winem07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This looks familiar doesn&#8217;t it, good old <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a>. As I was so eager to build I forgot to UV map the planks in Carrara before I placed them, I do that in Cheetah3D as it is much easier to do that there when everything already is placed. You can also see the bottles there.<\/p>\n<p>So, I&#8217;ve got the box of wine, not for the merchant. This proved to be a real tricky issue.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5633\" title=\"winem08\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the first one I made, using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/i\/software\/daz_studio3?_m=d\" target=\"_blank\">DAZ Studio 3<\/a> for posing. I placed my merchant and the crates inside the wine store, but somehow it looks wrong.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem09.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5632\" title=\"winem09\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem09.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>OK, I replaced the wine store with some dark cellar background props and some barrels and candles. I also gave the merchant himself a little touch of changes, but still, something feels wrong.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem10.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5631\" title=\"winem10\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This time I used some other fine dining room background props and made the floor myself in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filterforge.com\/?affiliateid=200100725\" target=\"_blank\">FilterForge<\/a> using my wood floor filter. I still have the props and added a wine glass to it. This one looks more like what I wanted to create.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5630\" title=\"winem11\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/winem11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here is the old photo version of it.
