I needed some pictures of Reavers for Promised Land and I needed some really ugly piercings for them.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So, <a title=\"Cheetah 3D\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3d.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a> will work for us again today. First we create a Sphere.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6557\" title=\"reaverpiece01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"230\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then we add a Cone object to the scene, and use a Boolean join to make just one object.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6556\" title=\"reaverpiece02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"314\" height=\"570\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now we use a Bend to bend this to a really ugly and brutal piercing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6555\" title=\"reaverpiece03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"324\" height=\"335\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Great, one done. Noe we create a Torus ring.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6554\" title=\"reaverpiece04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"221\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We add a Cone to the Scene, trying to place it on the outside.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6553\" title=\"reaverpiece05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We size it and use a Ring repeat for the Cone.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6552\" title=\"reaverpiece06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"370\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, we Boolean join them, bad piercing two done. Now we create a Cone again.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6551\" title=\"reaverpiece07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"305\" height=\"269\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We then use Array to make that ten stacked cones.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6550\" title=\"reaverpiece08\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"269\" height=\"452\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We now Taper this tower of pain to make it look more pointed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece09.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6549\" title=\"reaverpiece09\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/reaverpiece09.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"233\" height=\"433\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Btw, I haven&#8217;t released the objects as I have no good shaders for them, but I used Chrome by <a title=\"Omnifreaker\" href=\"http:\/\/www.omnifreaker.com\/index.php?title=News\" target=\"_blank\">Omnifreaker<\/a> to render these in <a title=\"DAZ Studio\" href=\"http:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/i\/software\/daz_studio3?_m=d\" target=\"_blank\">DAZ Studio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And here is Reaver one, setup in DAZ Studio using different props and MATs from DAZ or Renderocity.
