Maybe I should locate those models, or maybe not. This is the log side texture.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6733\" title=\"l04house01\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here are the roof texture. I only make a texture fully rendered in FilterForge, no use to bother with diffuse maps, bump maps etc for a low poly house.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6734\" title=\"l04house02\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here is the texture for the log ends (you might recognize it )<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6735\" title=\"l04house03\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here is the texture for the door<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6736\" title=\"l04house04\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And here is the texture I will use for the shabby wood structure on the back side.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house05.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6737\" title=\"l04house05\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now into Cheetah3D and texture and UV-map.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house06.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6738\" title=\"l04house06\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"315\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So far so good, but we do miss a lot of textures, so back into FilterForge again to make some more. This one is for window and door frames.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house07.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6739\" title=\"l04house07\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This one is for the chimney.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6740\" title=\"l04house08\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And this one is a filter that is then rendered on top of a shifting color in <a title=\"OmniGraffle\" href=\"http:\/\/www.omnigroup.com\/applications\/omnigraffle\/\" target=\"_blank\">OmniGraffle<\/a>, this will be used as windows with built in curtains.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house09.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6741\" title=\"l04house09\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house09.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, we&#8217;re done texture mapping and UV mapping. I&#8217;m slowly learning UV-mapping and I&#8217;ve learned some good things that I will show you later on.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house10.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6742\" title=\"l04house10\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"402\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, how will this look in <a title=\"Vue\" href=\"http:\/\/www.e-onsoftware.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Vue<\/a>? We export from Cheetah3D as wavefront .obj + .mtl files, which can be imported into Vue if you have the 3D Importer module. I&#8217;ve realized why Vue Complete is called just that, it has all modules.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6743\" title=\"l04house11\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/l04house11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This looks really adorable. The grass used is from <a title=\"Gill's Space\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gillsplace.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gill Brooks<\/a>. So are we done with low polygon houses now?
