{"id":869,"date":"2009-09-30T13:37:26","date_gmt":"2009-09-30T11:37:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/?p=869"},"modified":"2009-09-30T13:37:26","modified_gmt":"2009-09-30T11:37:26","slug":"creating-a-stone-prop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/?p=869","title":{"rendered":"Creating a stone prop."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OK, a quick break here, to create a stone prop to use in Dundjinni or your other favorite map making program.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->So, we start out by open <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cheetah3D.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cheetah3D<\/a>, and create a sphere.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/stone-0.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-870\" title=\"stone-0\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/stone-0.jpg\" alt=\"stone-0\" width=\"267\" height=\"239\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We then change the size and aspect of the stone, like this, and convert it into a polygon object, with setting to have enough polygons to make any editing smooth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/stone-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-871\" title=\"stone-1\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/stone-1.jpg\" alt=\"stone-1\" width=\"321\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now, my favorite tool, the polygon magnet, to manually modify this polygon object.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/stone-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-872\" title=\"stone-2\" src=\"http:\/\/4eyes.code66.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/stone-2.jpg\" alt=\"stone-2\" width=\"350\" height=\"257\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After some mayhem and destruction, we got something like this.
