So, we did come a long way yesterday with our firewood texture filter.

Today, first, we’re gonna look for a good tree end texture at CGTextures.
I did find this image, which have a nice end. The original image is way bigger than this.

Cutting out the centre of the image, to get only the woodpart, I got this texture.

So, we now have firewood texture, end wood texture, what do we miss? I know you will say bark textures. So, I ran a little FilterForge and used a couple of different bark filters, and here is what I have in mind to use.

Two pretty good and different looking bark textures. We got Pine and Birch. I might do a couple more, later.

Tomorrow we will start to model our firewood in Cheetah3D.
