Back at DAZ, they have been running something they call Mars Madness, which is fun. New items are released at a 75% discount and all stores are having huge sales. Among the coolest items so far was the V4 Archer outfit by Bobbie25, and there was a thread in the forum for us noobs making texture mods to that, so I could not resist.
Today we will finish the CIS Vest, our first real Poser figure texture modification. The reason I say figure is because all clothes are rigged, they have bones information so they can adjust to the adjustments of the character they fit to. You make the character skinny, the clothes gets tighter, you make him fat, the clothes get larger. Life is so much better in the virtual world.
So this will be a break in the map making again, showing something else that I’ve learned, and is still learning, and that is making texture modifications to existing Poser and DAZ Studio Props and Figures. This is easy when you know how, but it would be even easier using programs like Photoshop, but I have my toolbox and I have some tools that can make this go really good. This is the first cloth modification I’ve done, this is virgin territory for me.
