Today, we’re gonna make some kite shields. I was playing with FilterForge and I decided to make a filter that can make pretty decent kite shields with different paint jobs and so on.
So, The filter is one of the most brutally complex filters I’ve ever made so far.
As you can see, it is a myriad of filter components involved, and this filter is still pretty fast, as only a few components are actually involved in each render, as there are so many different options.
So, what does it look like?
These are three renders, that I’ve converted to jpgs and rendered on white background using OmniGraffle, just to cut down the file size a little. One thing that is cool, is that you can add you own image to the render of the shield, just as you can do in FilterForge. I found a sit e with some good god DnD graphics on. Insignias for DnD gods borrowed from The Shackled City.
So, what do you think? Hope you like these shields, good loot to place on your maps.
