So, we got a boat to finish, let us not waste any time smalltalking today.
So, we open the saved module from yesterday in Cheetah3D, and continue working with it. First, we create a little cylinder that we Catmull-Clark subdivide to make it rounder on the edges, and place it in the aft of the ship.
The we create a box, and shape it as a plank.
Using some taper modifications, we got a rudder.
Now, we create a cylinder, that we place in front of the ship.
We create some more cylinders, for the rig, and the we create a think box as a sail.
Using a rotated box and a boolean remove, we get a sail that looks right.
And using FilterForge we make a nice sail texture.
And here is our ship or boat, in a top down view.
