So, we’re back at making tiles again, for The Neverending Inn – tavern expansion.
The Neverending Tavern is done, and up on Creative Gremlins, just a little quirk with some preview.
But here is the preview.
So, today we’re gonna work in the lower class, cheap in part, I’ve done some fancy rooms already, but most inns have one or two rooms, and a dormitory where you can sleep for a copper or two, at least when we played Hârnmaster with Stefan yesterday. We tested the Inn additions I’ve done so far, and it was fun.
So, fire up Cheetah3D, and make a cub.
Then, stretch it like a mattress, like this, and no, not the nesting type this time.
We now create a cylinder and put it at one end of the unrolled bedroll.
We now Boolean join the two objects, and use the Magnet to make it a little less smooth.
Now, we fire up FilterForge to make a leather texture, just using one filter I’ve already downloaded.
Texture map.
And bump map. Now we render the bedroll, it looks like this. Not much, but is not much to begin with, a cheap place for the poor traveller to sleep, better than the barn anyway.
And, here is a piece of the Inn tile.
I added some blankets by future boy to it, and some other small items.
Tomorrow, we’ll probably make something else in this way.
