OK,  more inn stuff today, less talk.

Start up Cheetah3D, here we go. First, we create a cylinder.

Now, clone, shrink and move as we’ve done several times before. New readers, just go back a months or two.
And we will have this on the screen.

Now, use a Boolean remove, and we will have a good base for the fireplace.

We use one of our old stove textures for this to save time.

Now, we create a circular plane, divide polygons and then use the Magnet tool to make it a little bumpy.

We set a coal texture to that one, and add a little red light. Now, we create a pipe, for the chimney.

We taper it, set texture to it. Selecting all the polygons on the inside, then sets the darker texture to it. As you can see, the UV-Mapping isn’t done yet.

We render the top and bottom as separate pieces, then assemble everything in good old OmniGraffle, as usual.

And here it is, in yet another inn section.

Added another smoke prop to it in this picture.

So, tomorrow, keep it coming.
