Cisticola has made these fantastic glass store cases, that I’ve used, but I thought maybe I can make something like them in FilterForge.

So, I took a dive into FilterForge and created the behind glass filter, which came out pretty good.

So, first I rendered a few different glass covers. I have to make them square, one of the limitations with FilterForge. I could  have made just the glass, then made the frame elsewhere, but right now I decided to make square store cases, I already have the rectangular ones cisticola made anyway.

First, one with one single glass.

And second, one with a cross frame. Cheaper for the merchant if a burglar breaks the glass to steal something. Now, I rendered a background for the cases, just a quick wood panel texture.

Now, time to open OmniGraffle and build some store cases with items for the store.

This one uses some elven swords and armor made by SteelRat.

This one uses various urns made by Futureboy.

And this one uses some crystals I made a long time ago. Just look at them, you could almost touch the glass surface.

As as I’ve promised, a piece of the store, with some items and cases in. I bet those items are very magical and very expensive.
