Today, we’re gonna make a new set of market shades as I’ve been using my old ones a lot, and also the ones I’ve grabbed at the Dundjinni forum.

We start this by launching Cheetah3D creating a cylinder.

Now, we reshape it to the shape of a pole.

We add a plane, that we divide into many polygons so it can be edited and manipulated. We also use the build in old wood generated texture for the poles.

Now we taper the shade (plane) and use the magnet tool to make it a little less flat and boring.

And now, we use a bunch of textures that we have created with FilterForge.

Here are 3 of the thirteen different market shades I made. I also used another FilterForge filter to make some holes in  the shades, and I made four different ruined shades.

Looks good, and here is a piece of a market with the shades in use, as always.

You might remember the stove. Come, fresh steak and mead, special price for you, cheap cheap, fresh fresh!
