Wood weaving is todays theme, and we start out with making a few wood weave textures using FilterForge.

Using a great filter my Constantin Malakov, I made these three different wood weave textures.

They look realistic to me.

Now, we start up Cheetah3D, to make some wicker tables. I don’t really know what I will use them for, but I just thought I make them. We start out with a box, that we flatten and stretch.

Now, we make a copy of this box, make it first smaller, than make it thicker than the original, like this:

With a Boolean remove, we will have a great table frame, we just add a wood texture to it. Then we add a plane in the empty space, and four balls, one in each corner, that we set a metal texture to. Render and add some drop shadow in OmniGraffle.

Looks good, but we’re not done yet.
Back into Cheetah3D, making some baskets. I don’t show the process this time, just the results.

Baskets laying down.

Baskets standing up.
Several different models. And here is a market stand with the baskets. Anyone else thinking Raiders of the lost ark?

Yet another great day with great achivements.
