So, we’re into trapdoors now. You can never have too many, trust me, they are like chests, the players never forget a chest the have seen.

We start Cheetah3D again, and continue fixing the trapdoors. First we create a cylinder, we’re gonna make bolts today.

We set the out polygon count to six, and guess what? We got a perfect base for a bolt head.  I’ve never thought of this before, just realized it today. I tell you, you learn something new everyday.

Selecting the top polygons, when then lift them and shrink them.

Now we can place out bolts.

We then rotate each of them individually so they look real.

We create a copy of the pull ring and set the rusty iron texture to it, just hiding the original.

Now we can make different versions. First one with shiny pull ring and bolts.

And one with no bolts and rusty pull rin, still using the same wood texture.

So, tomorrow we will add some more options to these trapdoors.
