I’m working on a map for my next adventure for Operation: Fallen Reich, with the working title Wicked Times – All Guns Blazing. And I need some special furniture for a map.

So, today, a tipped over table, but not a fantasy tavern table, which I have several of, but a pulp area dining room table.

So, we start Cheetah3D and get to work, we start with a Box.

Now we make it flat to be used as a table surface.

Now, we make two copies of this object, and move both upward. Then we decfese one of the in X and Y and increase it in Z, like this.

Using a Boolean remove, we will get a small frame that we attach to the bottom of this surface with a Boolean union. Then we apply a built in fine wood texture.

Now, we create a flower spline and extrude that.

We use a Twist to twist it a little, like this.

Now we add a Ball at the end of the leg with a Boolean union, and then copy it and place one leg in each corner. Now, we tip the table over sideways, and render it. We add drop shadows using FilterForge as usual.

I think this looks good enough as it is not a centre piece, rather something that needs to be on the map.
