Today I will make something else for DAZ 3D Studio, a fence. I’m trying to create a bunch of usable items that I could use to build scenes in DAZ 3D Studio, and yo always need a fence.

So we start Cheetah3D and make a Box.

We turn it into a square pole, and make a few copies of it.

Now we make another copy that we rotate 90 degrees and stretch even more.

At last, we make another copy, shape it like a pland and then use the Array to multiply it. We then use a couple of Booleans to make one single object of all the objects.

We jump into FilterForge, and I do a quick modification to my little of cottage filter so it can render without any panel bumps. Here is the texture we’re gonna use.

We use the Bake Texture feature in Cheetah3D (which I am far from friend with yet btw I need to figure out better how it is supposed to work). But, it makes a texturemap that we can apply on the exported .obj file and from that export a material file and a new obj-file that will contain all the mappings.

We do the same operation with putting things in the right directories and using the Null.cr2 file, and here it is, the fence in DAZ 3D Studio.

And here is a little package for DAZ 3D Studio.
