Maps, maps and more maps. The map I’m going to create now is room where Zwesch the half-orc lives.
This is a dirty little room, deep down in the thieves quarters, and as I wrote before, no one likes Zwesch.
This time we’re gonna use Dundjinni again.
The room in the original adventure looked like this, not much to be proud of.
This room should be really dirty. full of trash, and should have a corner fireplace.
I start with crating a fireplace, a really dirty bed, a dirty rug and a dirty table set. I will make all those as presents as I’ve done earlier, for two reasons, they will be reusable, and dundjinni seems to behave much better when using presents compared to many many objects, which is pretty logical if you know the slightest about software development.
We start with the fireplace, which I render i two pieces, and “mount” in OmniGraffle as the first presetitem.
It consists of these two basic parts, the top that connects to the chimney, and the fireplace.
I made them pretty quickly in Cheetah3D.
And this is how the fireplace looks, complete with smoke and some creepy stuff. Now, let us make a shelf, in even worse condition.
The shelf looks like this after we have added some nice cobwebs, goo and other icky things, like a half eaten pie and a bucket of food almost walking itself to the trash.
Tomorrow, we make a bad bed and a really disgusting table set with chairs to go with that.
