Today w’re gonna finnish the lower decks of the Promised Land, and hopefully we’re gonna be satisfied with the result.

Today, I’m gonna show you what I talked about earlier, the great I got for making them map go from good to awesome. So first we open up the Promised Land file in DAZ Studio 3, where we have it grungy and ready. We turn of the engine flames as they just take up space, and we render it top down, using a non perspective camera setting.

A mighty good looking ship don’t you say. While i DAZ Studio 3, I render yet another console that I put together using the different pieces in the kit, very good stuff. You can snag this one too.

Now I render another DAZ 3D freebee model, the Dystopia console. Btw, The Promised Land is from the Dystopia line on DAZ 3D.

I aslo render some of the tools I’ve got, these are great mechanical toolsets.

I will release a Sci-Fi mapkit for Dundjinni and other mapping software when I’m done with this, and there all these items will be in nice high resolution pngs, these are just lowres jpgs for posting here.

I also render a nice sci-fi ship door top down, to use in the ship.

So, here she is in all her glory, the lower deck at least, the Promised Land. Assembled in OmniGraffle.

Don’t you agree that using the ship as background and cutting out the visible and accessible parts was a good move? I can’t take credit for it though, as this is how all ships in the Serenity RPG books are drawn. The quality of those books are second to none, best RPG books I’ve ever seen, both design, quality and content.

So, what’s next? The main deck of course.
