Today, we’re gonna use something we learned a long time ago, making roofs.

First, we will export the image of the docks from Dundjinni, as a 200DPI BMP, which we first divide into the two sections we will use, the warehouse and the ship at the docks.

I’ve just experienced one of those moments when you realize every program have its bad moments. Dundjinni just refused to export my warehouse map, due to an out of memory exception, and I have 16GB RAM and 4GB can Dundjinni use, so it is a bug somewhere. But it was simple to identify which object that caused it, the large overlay for the warehouse, which was almost 2.8 MB, so I removed it, and then the rendering went smooth.

So, I now had to apply that back again using OmniGraffle, and add some square markers. The ware house map ended up being 2 papers, which is a good size.

And a closeup on the overlay that caused me all the problems.

I think I can be pretty happy with how this map turned out.

OK, the docks, I added some roofs to them, in OmniGraffle, as those roofs are several MB each. The PCs won’t be going into those buidlings, and if they do, DM can improvise, that is why we have a DM and not  computer, right?

You will get all the maps in full scale when the adventure is released, now I just have to fix all encounters, DM maps and so on, I will keep posting here, I’ll start with more DM maps tomorrow.
