Today, we’re not gonna draw so much, but spend the time making an encounter disposition, so we can finish the adventure. A disposition is very good as we need to define encounter levels and treasure parcels for the different ecnounters.
The encounters we have made maps for and already defined in our heads are:
- E1 – The Golden Fox
- E2 – The Cellars
- E3 – The backyard
- E4 – The queen suite
- E5 – The Sewers
- E6 – The warehouse
- E7 – Zwesch room
- E8 – The Docks
Some of these are bigger, some rather small, but they should give a party of 5 PCs enough XP to level up. So, for the level one part, we have a budget of 5000 XP, and for the level seven part, the XP budget is 15000 XP, so let’s outline each encounter now. Today, we outline the Level one part.
E1 – The Golden Fox
Coughing power bomb – Hazard : level 3 lurker, 150 XP
Saving Joshof Gestrali, 100 XP
E2 – The cellar
(Level – 1 encounter) : 400 X.P
E3 – The Backyard
(Level encounter ) : 500 xp
E4 – Baroness room
Quest – Find the Baroness, 175 XP
E5 – The sewers
(level +1 encounter) : 625 XP
E6 – The Warehouse
(level +3 encounter ): 875 XP
E7 – Zwesch room
(level +2 encounter ): 750 XP
E8 – The docks
(level +1 encounter): 625 XP
OK, how did we do? 150+100+400+500+175+625+875+750+625 = 4200 XP
It looks like we will need one more encounter, as our target is 5000 XP.
So, we need to add something, I think I know where that should be.
So, E9 – Kerricks hideout it will be. Kerrick is that bad guy who ordered this whole thing. He will of cause not be present, way to high level, but he will have some of his trustful henchmen here.
E9 – Kerricks hideout
(level +3 encounter) : 875 XP.
The ones who survive this will level up, if they survive. Tomorrow, we do the same thing for the level 7 adventure.
