Like I said, the turn tracking markers are fabulous! It’s an easy way of keeping track of who’s turn it is at any given time of a combat encounter. Not only is it extremely easy, it’s also the first turn tracking method I tried that actually let the players in on what’s actually going on ahead of my telling them.

Still… After a few hours of gaming, when blood sugar levels are low… Read more

I’ve written a few times about the trackers we now use for making initiatives and player order much faster and easier.

I have now made a new version of those.

Monster Tracker

Have fun, and no more -“Oh, it’s my turn, hmm. what should I do, wait I need to look something up in the PH, please pass me a PH”

My texture packs are now available at ninegods.
I will soon publish more packs there as well, with map making items.

There are textures, lots of new textures in the Dundjinni texture pack, it is fully loaded.

42 floors, 14 walls and 7 different blur cover pieces to make nice transitions.

I’ve created a bunch of textures using images from CGTextures, and as the license says non-commersial, I’ve made them available here.

Texture set 1 for Dundjinni.

Texture set 2 for Dundjinni.

Large textures set 1

Large textures set 2

Enjoy!

I have put together a large collection of textures for use with Dundjinni, or any other mapping software, that now are for sale at the store.

I sell the package dirt cheap, 2 Euros, so it is a bargain for every serious mapmaker. I will soon put together a larger texture set to be used for 3D modeling or in OmniGraffle for mapmaking, stay tuned.

OK, last weekend, I DM:ed the Heathen adventure from Dragon 155, and we had really fun. As I like mapping, no one reading here can have missed that, I created some battle maps for that adventure.

You can find them at Cartographers guild, here.

Cheers,

I found this back at NewbieDM, a brilliant solution to keeping track of initiatives and conditions, simple but elegant. Originally the idea comes from slyflourish, but I felt I needed to post it here as well.

There is a pdf available, but I think my friend Daniel aka Galastro, will use his illustrator skills and create something really nice.

No more Oooh, who’s up. Me? Sorry. Hmm, what will I do, hmm…

Yes, finally I got the party together so I can play test There and back again?

As Håkan said: “What, have we been degraded from players to poor beta testers now?  But OK, we’re still having a ball when we play, so I can live with that.

I will report tomorrow, or late tonight, about the players reactions, and then I can estimate how much changes I need to do before I can release it.

Today, I should wear that t-shirt Thomas had last time he was DM “Chaotic Evil means never having to say you’re sorry” from thinkgeek, (The T-Shirt).
