4eyes have now been up in the current shape for one year, serving you over 370+ posts about mapmaking, adventure creation and other RPG related matters.

I hope the coming year will be even more interesting, but the uncertainty of the future of Dundjinni and the recent suspension of www.ninegods.com make me a little worried. Where is the map making community moving now? RPGMapshare is still alive and kicking.

    If DJ wont come up soon, I think we (the DJ community) should set up something similar. I know RPGMapshare exists, but I did like the forums of DJ, where you could comment the art, add modifications and just have some good fun, have threads. RPGMapshare is more just toss it in, and it will be ignored.

    I have access to dedicated high-speed link at one of my clients, th CEO is the one who introduced me to map mapmaking. Set up a forum server there should be possible, all we need is some TBs of disk, a server, a forum software, the line is a 100MBit fiber link. And most important, some good forum mods, like the guys back at DJ forum.
