So, we got some new tables, but we got nothing to put on them, except tablecloth. Today, we’re gonna make some simple tableware, or begin with it. It will take a while to make all we need.
Today we’re gonna use some of the things we’ve created, and create some more. This is a good way of building a library of good and useful items that can be used in Dundjinni or any other mapmaking software.
Yesterday we made some cabinet underlays for the tables we made, and today we’re gonna create a drawer. We might even have time to fill it with something useful.
OK, we’re back again for some more mundane furniture. Today we’re gonna use the tables from yesterday, and turn them into wardrobes.
OK, today we’re gonna decorate and preset some tables to be used in maps. It is of cause good to have some naked tables as well, but having some decorated ones makes mapmaking so much easier.
I think I like the idea of common home mundane items, so I’ll keep that course of actions until I figure out something else, and I will do items needed for the maps I am working on, so each item will be seen in action, maybe not directly, but sooner or later.
OK, I will now create some stuff that we can use to populate our common village and town buildings with, things that we call mundane things, nothing fancy, just plain common things. And we start out with making some chests.
OK, I was a little worried of what we should do today. First, I was thinking of doing another FilterForge tutorial, but my cottage wood wall filter quickly became way to complicated to explain, even to myself, so I just got this idea of a gold and silver striped texture that would make a barber pole like look on a cylinder, and it quickly turned out to be good.

Today, we’re gonna make some kite shields. I was playing with FilterForge and I decided to make a filter that can make pretty decent kite shields with different paint jobs and so on.
Welcome back to this episode of making mundane tools for the decoration of you battle maps. We will continue today with the hammer shaft.
