Today we will do something really awesome cool. Do you remember when we made some swamp bogs? Now, when I’ve decided I’ve need some natural water edges and not only stone paved docks for The Neverending Docks, I realized that I need water edges that can tile, for 1, 3 and 6 inches wide map pieces. I tried to make this manually, but failed hard, so them when I thought of a solution, I remembered goo old ImageSynth, so here is the How to using ImageSynth and OmniGraffle.
Yesterday, I made a bridge in FilterForge. Today we’re gonna make one in Cheetah3D, as you can never have too many bridges.
Today, I realized that my docks needs some bridges, as I will make a canal like tile type also. I though maybe I can make a bridge in FilterForge, just as a cool test.
Today is the big day. If you live in Sweden, you probably celebrated valborg yesterday, and for you who don’t have a clue what that is, I’ll give you a brief into to Swedish culture before we continue.
Valborg means lighting great bonfires, drinking and sometimes firing crackers and students sing spring songs and it is really an old feast to celebrate that the long, dark and cold winter is finally gone.
So, today we’re gonna add some interesting items to the crane we are building.
We will continue with our crane today, adding some more of the structures.
What is docks without a crane? Like a burger without dressing, or a role playing game without dice and miniatures. So, I will make a medieval crane over the next few days.

As you know by know, I’m working on my The Neverending Docks, but it might make some new turns as I think I need to extend the collection a little. But, while making some tiles, I needed a fountain, and I was eager to just play around in Cheetah3D exploring, and this is how it went.
Making docks, I need boats. And I have some boats and canoes from before, but I feel I need some new boats, and this is what I will make today.
I’ve been making some tiles for The Neverending Docks, but mostly I’ve been using stuff that I’ve already have made, just using them in other situations.
But, I’ve also done some fun new things, and I will just show off a few here.
