As you saw yesterday, I’m working no only on the floors above the tavern, but the basement also for the Inn expansion. Today, we’re gonna do two things, a staircase leading down, and some more flagons, using the flagons we did for the cider press before.
Today, we’re gonna make some game tables for the tavern or inn, where the patrons can spend a pleasant evening before going to bed.
So, I’m onto lower class inns and dormitories right now as I need a few of those.
Today, I will almost break the rule I’ve had with The Neverending Tavern and now The Neverending Inn, nothing living on the tiles. OK, the rat I will have, it’s probably dead, but it is a living thing, almost.
OK, more inn stuff today, less talk.
So, we’re back at making tiles again, for The Neverending Inn – tavern expansion.
The Neverending Tavern is done, and up on Creative Gremlins, just a little quirk with some preview.
But here is the preview.
OK, I’ve just realized that FilterForge can really be done to make complete props for the maps, not only to make textures. So I’ve made a few filters just for that.
Today I’m gonna try something that I’ve been eager to test, change the color/texture of an object using a filter in FilerForge. Someone at the Dundjinni forum, had a statue and wanted it more stone like.

Today we’re back at making stuff for the inn and taverns. I’ve decided to make a desk for the in, like in hotels, so we start with making that one.
Today, the is big day, when we’re gonna see some more doors in different colors and shapes, not all 1001, but a few anyway.
Here are six door from the 1001 I’ve just made. 1001 doors, 40s average rendering time per door (Pelor bless my batch render controller), but it took about 12 hours to render them out. I had to render them in batches of 400, as I found a but in the FFBatchRender 2.0 beta tool, it eats resources so after 410 renders, it just stops, bug reported.
What a blast this past week have been, now I will be doing some more stuff, inn and tavern stuff, like beds, shelfs, and I have one idea for a filter that I might try, a rugs filter, I need a bunch of rugs with crazy patterns and medieval coloring.
Yes, you can do more with those doors, much more. I got this weird idea, metal doors, stone doors and most of all, spiked doors. This will be easy to do in FilterForge 2 beta, as Polygons will do the work for us here too.
