So, we did come a long way yesterday with our firewood texture filter.
Today, first, we’re gonna look for a good tree end texture at CGTextures.

I’ve found that I really miss some good firewood pieces that we can stack beside the fireplace, in the woodshed, or anywhere else. We will create that, doing everything from scratch, including making textures, 3D modeling and putting it all together.
So, today we will modify an existing piece, much because SuperCaptain, who made the piece asked for mods of it.

I’m making a lot of props these days, props to populate and decorate my maps, and today we will make a basket that can also be turned into a bowl.
It has been a pretty fun journey, and now we have created a large collection of useful floor tiles, and I am happy to announce that they are now available for download, in high resolution, ready to print on a printer near you.
I did one more, a small wall that can be used on the sewers, this one, but as you by now now everything worth to know about making floor tiles, I wont bore you with now I made this one.
The new tile set is available for download here, or at the Utilities page. But I warn you, the PDF is 25 MB and I host it at my .mac account, so it might be a little slow to download.

If you have had problems accessing 4eyes today, it is because my ISP is having severe routing problems, mostly for traffic across the atlantic.
Hopefully they find the problem, but still no estimated to when it will be fixed.
Update: Is fixed now. Was a fiber somewhere, traffic now routed around that problem.

We’re back to making tiles today, and we’re making some nasty ones too. Pretty often, he PCs of my campaigns end up in the sewers, mostly because it is pretty safe and a good way to bypass most guards, so today, we will make two smaller tiles that can be used to build sewers.
So, now we have done some castle walls, but today I’m gonna show you a magic trick of the eye. This is really cool, so grab a seat.
Stones and grass, what more can we do with our castle wall to have fun. We can create the inner yard to add behind our other pieces, that sounds both doable and useful.
I hope you liked the idea of making a castle wall as much I did, it was really fun to do, but most walls usually have grass, not beach gravel on the outside, and today we’re gonna correct that little issue.
