OK, I’m still at the keep that is governed by Tzupeer, captain of the guards. I’m about to build 3 levels plus a basement in Dundjinni, but need a lot of present items to make it really unique and stand out.
Today we’re heading back to the keep. We’re gonna make add some more stuff to it today, and even place it on the map, as it is one of the centre pieces of the map, we need it placed before we can add ordinary houses, wells, benches, trees and all other village attributes.
I’ve decided to extend the map entry in the map making competition with the Westport village, south of Westport, and in the centre of the village, there will be a small keep. So today, we will start working on that keep.
It’s about time this site get’s back to what’s really important, right? Mapmaking is all fun and glossy and we all enjoy a good set of dungeon tiles, don’t we? Yeah sure, but do we need them unless we actually play the game? Noope!
So, here we go!What makes a gaming session into an outstanding gaming session, except for some shiny hi-rez maps?
OK, I was playing around with FilterForge 2 Beta stage 2, and made this beautiful slag texture, so I decided to make a box of slag from the mines where the Iron dwarves have their mines. Check my map competition entry if you don’t get this.
So, we got a boat to finish, let us not waste any time smalltalking today.
This time I need a sailing boat, a sailing tugboat to be more specific, that will tug barges on a lake.
OK, Back to some mundane tool again, this time a shovel. I needed it for a map I’m working on.

Hello,
I’ve posted a map in the competition, here.
// Totte
So, we got tons of snow here, but I won’t make any snow textures or snowy objects, but a chimney will be OK. Maybe santa want to visit the happy dwarves too.
