So this will be a break in the map making again, showing something else that I’ve learned, and is still learning, and that is making texture modifications to existing Poser and DAZ Studio Props and Figures. This is easy when you know how, but it would be even easier using programs like Photoshop, but I have my toolbox and I have some tools that can make this go really good. This is the first cloth modification I’ve done, this is virgin territory for me.
We’re gonna finish the Stars & Stallions saloon today, so we got a full day.
Today we’re gonna begin making a map of a saloon named Stars & Stallions, a proper name for a proper establishment. As I’ve used this saloon in 3D pictures for the adventure, I will use the same technique I did when making the Promised Land to make this one, render the 3D scene top down to get the layout.
OK, I needed a map for a smaller ship, and some cargo for it too, so this post will show many different things, as I always do many things when making a map.
We’re gonna fill up the cargo space a little today, and also I’m gonna show you something I wanted to try that was really good.
Today we’re gonna finish up the crew quarters and add some more nifty details to the main deck.
There is an article on the DAZ3D website which states that the promo with free figures will soon end.
So, if you get teased, grab’em before it is to late.
We’re back to making the Promised Land map, and today we’re gonna make a ladder, which I found I need but did not have, not a spaceship ladder anyway. A wooden ladder just won’t do.
I know it is Valentine’s dat today, but I won’t make any hearts anyway, but I will show some love to you all by making something extra today.
Today we’re gonna take a break from mapping the Promised Land, and make something I needed for one of the Cut Scene pictures for the adventure. The game really encourage the Game Master to run cut scenes, so I’ve been making several pictures to show for the players.
For one of those scenes, I needed some monitors hanging from the roof showing some Alliance propaganda and news, to get the look I wanted for the scene. Well made cut scene pictures will be a real asset when playing the adventure.
Today w’re gonna finnish the lower decks of the Promised Land, and hopefully we’re gonna be satisfied with the result.
